Ambattur Nair Seva Samajam was established in 1981 by a few like-minded Nairs from in and around Ambattur. The primary purpose of creating this organization was to strengthen the bonds between Nairs residing in Avadi, Ambattur and adjacent areas and to bring about a common platform to pool their energy and resources. The steady growth of ANSS has vouched the strength of the Community to bring together its contacts and traditions on a common platform.

Selfless efforts and dedicated work put forth by the office bearers and volunteers earned the confidence of the community members and it started developing gradually. At present, Ambattur Nair Seva Samajam, commonly known as ANSS, has about 450 families enrolled in it as members.

Samajam had the good fortune of purchasing land in 1983 and completed the construction of its own office in 1984.

Community Hall

2005 marked a milestone, when the Samajam’s dream of having its own Community Hall came true. The foundation stone was laid on 14th April 2005.

The first phase was completed by 14th April 2007 and the second phase was completed and inaugurated by our beloved Patrons Sri M.K. Unnithan and Sri Kalpaga Gopalan on 14th April 2017.



With strength of over 450 members and help of our well-wishers, we shall not rest on our laurels, but strive to achieve more for the benefit of our community and the society in general.
